For several years, Peter studied with drummer and composer, Don Peretz, who helped him flourish as a drummer and musician. As a student of the Jazz Studies Program at Juilliard (BM, 2019-2023), Peter was also guided by jazz drumming greats including Billy Drummond and Kenny Washington.

Currently residing in NYC, Peter has performed at Dizzy’s-Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Alice Tully Concert Hall, The Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Ornithology, Nublu, The Django, National Sawdust, Birds NY, Rockwood Music Hall, The Mercury Lounge and many other notable venues. Peter also currently teaches private lessons, where he finds immense joy in watching his students progress as musicians and individuals.
